Interior Detailing: A Full Inside Reset
Kids, dogs, work boots, farm dust, the coffee that lost the fight with a roundabout — interiors cop it all. The Inside Job strips the cabin back and rebuilds it: seats, carpets, trim, console and glass brought back to how the car deserves to feel. At your place, anywhere in Southeast Melbourne.
What The Inside Job covers
- Full vacuum — seats out-of-sight areas, rails, boot and under-seat
- Hot-water extraction of carpets and cloth seats — stains lifted from the fibre, not smeared around it
- Leather cleaned and conditioned properly — no greasy shine, just supple and clean
- Trim, console, vents and switchgear detailed by hand
- Interior glass finished streak-free
- Odour source removal — we take out what's causing it, not perfume over it
Pet hair, sand, school-run debris, tradie dust — heavy cabins are our bread and butter. Have a look at the farm-vehicle rescues below; if we can bring those back, yours is a warm-up lap.
The work

Why steam and extraction beat a wipe-over
A service-station "interior clean" is a vacuum and a shiny dressing. The dirt that matters — ground into carpet fibre, soaked into cloth seats, living in the seams of the console — needs heat, the right chemistry, agitation and extraction to leave. That's the difference between a cabin that looks cleaned and one that actually is: no biscuit crumbs waving from the seat rails, no stale smell returning by Thursday.
It matters for health, too. Cabin carpet holds what your shoes bring in. Families with young kids and dog owners feel the difference the first drive after a proper extraction clean.

Common questions
How long does it take?
Two to four hours for most cabins; heavy rescues run longer. We work at your home — you'll need power and water available.
Can you get pet hair out?
Yes — it's stubborn, and it's routine for us. Embedded double-coat dog hair takes specialised tools and patience rather than a quick vacuum pass.
Do you remove mould?
Surface mould in cabins, yes — treated at the source. Severe contamination is assessed honestly on inspection.
